25 Year Old Man Arrested For Allegedly Trafficking Pink Cocaine

Investigations and surveillance by the Malta Police in relation to a criminal circle involving drug trafficking led to the arrest of a 25 year old Italian man.
During the surveillance, the officials saw the suspect making contact with another individual in the Imsida zone. Moments later, the suspected was intercepted whilst driving his Skoda vehicle and was arrested.
A search led to a packet which contained a substance suspected to be pink cocaine.
More searches in his Swieqi residence yielded further amounts of the same substance, as well as cannabis and other objects allegedly related to drug trafficking.
The man was held at the Floriana lockup and will be arraigned in court today at noon.
