25,000 Litres Of Water Used To Extinguish Yesterday’s Garage Fire In Żebbuġ

The Civil Protection Department issued an update regarding yesterday’s fire in Żebbuġ.
A street-level garage with 3 cars inside caught fire yesterday morning.
CPD reported that 37 firefighters and 9 fire appliances were deployed on site, and 25,000 litres of water were used to extinguish the fire.
The department thanked Transport Malta, The Malta Police Force and Mater Dei’s Emergency department “for their assistance and support throughout the operation.”
The Civil Protection Department stated that no injuries were reported, however an exact cause behind the fire was not disclosed.
