238 Police Officers To Finish 25 Years Of Service In Next 5 Years

Responding to a parliamentary question, Minister for Home Affairs, Security and Employment Byron Camilleri revealed that 238 police officers will be finishing their 25 years of service within the next five years.
Next year, 20 officers will be completing their 25 years, with 53 finishing in 2027. In 2028, 72 will finish the allotted time, followed by only 6 in 2029 and 87 in 2030.
Six members of the Armed Forces of Malta will be finishing next year, followed by 48 in 2027, 81 in 2028, 2 in 2029 and 14 in 2030.
No Civil Protection Members will be finishing in the next five years, whereas 28 Corradino Correctional Facility officials will finish in 2029 together.
