23 Year Old Nepalese Motorcyclist Grievously Injured After Crash

Yesterday, at around 2000hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident on Triq Wied il-Għajn, Ħaż-Żabbar.
Police convened immediately on site and found that a crash had taken place between Mercedes Benz E220 driven by a 28 year old resident of Ħal Tarxien and a motorcycle Peugeot Tweet driven by a Nepalese man aged 23 years old who lives in Ħaż-Żabbar.
A medical team was called on site and transported the motorcyclist to Mater Dei Hospital. He was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
