23 Year Old Man At Risk Of Dying After Vehicle Overturns In Mellieħa

Yesterday, at around 2330hrs, a 23 year old man resident of Mosta, was taken to Mater Dei Hospital after he was involved in a traffic accident in Triq Louis Wettinger, Mellieħa.
Preliminary investigations showed that he was driving a Volkswagen Golf and, for some reason, lost control of the vehicle and it overturned.
The man was given assistance from the Civil Protection Department and transported to Mater Dei. He was certified as having suffered serious injuries.
Investigations are ongoing.
