220,000 Litres Of Water & 5,000 Litres Of Foam To Put Out Birkirkara Fire

The Birkirkara industrial fire that broke out yesterday was successfully extinguished by a dedicated response team.
The response required 220,000 litres of water and 5,000 litres of foam to extinguish the fire, with 39 firefighters, accompanied by 11 Senior Fire Officers taking on the flames that broke out late in the afternoon.
The Civil Protection Department extended its gratitude to the Mater Dei Hospital Emergency Department, the Malta Police Force, Transport Malta, LESA and Enemalta plc for their support throughout the incident.
