21st Edition Of Good Friday Night Walk In Aid Of Puttinu Cares Is Tonight!

The 21st edition of the Good Friday Night Walk in aid of Puttinu Cares is set to take place tonight, bringing together participants from across Malta for a meaningful overnight event.

The walk will begin at midnight from Mellieħa Parish Square and will cover approximately 18 kilometres, ending at the Granaries in Floriana.

Participants are expected to include not only walkers, but also runners and cyclists, all contributing to the charitable cause.

Organisers have encouraged cyclists to ensure their bicycles are properly equipped with front and rear lights and to wear high visibility clothing where possible, prioritising safety throughout the route.

Transport arrangements have been put in place to facilitate participation. Free transport from Floriana to Mellieħa will be available before the event, operating between 8.30pm and 10.30pm. Transport will also be provided after the walk, ensuring participants can return conveniently.

While no formal registration is required, participants are encouraged to make a minimum donation of ten euro in support of Puttinu Cares.

Donations will be collected before the walk or can be made online.
