21-Year Old Italian Motorcyclist Who Crashed On Thursday Morning Died

A 21-year-old Italian man has died following a motorcycle crash in Pembroke, police confirmed in a statement issued on Saturday.
The accident occurred at around 5:30am on Thursday, when the rider lost control of his Kymco Agility motorbike and collided with a concrete barrier on Triq Sant’ Andrija.
He was rushed to hospital in critical condition but, despite the efforts of medical staff, he later succumbed to his injuries.
His death marks the 19th traffic-related fatality in Malta this year, and the second motorcyclist to lose his life within the past week.
