18.4% Of Maltese Wish They Were Born In Another Country

According to the State of the Nation, 18.4% of Maltese said they prefer to have been born somewhere else.
76.7% said they are content to have been born in Malta, compared to 5% who said they do not know.
Younger generations are more likely to say they wish they were born somewhere else, with 33.3% of 16 to 25 year olds saying they wish they weren’t born in Malta.
19.7% of 26 to 35 year olds wish they were born somewhere else, compared to 16.7% of 36 to 45 year olds.
