150 Maltese Police Officers Graduate From Child-Friendly Digital Safety Course

Almost 150 Maltese community police officers have completed the Child-Friendly Community Policing in Today’s Online World course.
The course was hosted by the Malta Foundation for the Wellbeing of Society (MFWS), aiming to help officers “respond more effectively to online abuse” and guide children through the dangers of today’s digital landscape.
MFWS chairperson Marie-Louise Coleiro Preca praised the officers for developing their “professionalism, empathy and understanding to the challenges facing young people online.” She also thanked the Police Commissioner and Malta Police Force for making communities safer and more child-friendly.
