14 Cases Of Police Intervening In Schools Due To Student Fights In 2025

According to information tabled in parliament, there were 14 cases in 2025 wherein police had to intervene in local schools due to fights between students.
The information, tabled by Minister Byron Camilleri, showed that St Claire’s College, Pembroke had the highest amount of interventions at three.
Mosta’s Skola Marija Regina Lilly of the Valley and Żokrija’s Skola Marija Regina each had two cases.
Meanwhile, 18 interventions cases were registered in 2024, with 8 registered in 2023 and 10 registered in 2022. This bring the total amount to 50 cases between 2022 and 2025.
