12 Persons Found Illegally In Gozo Arrested In Police Inspections

Over the past few days, twelve persons who were found to be living in Gozo illegally were arrested.
In a coordinated effort by the Malta Police Force and other entities, among them the DetentionS services Agency, they were taken into custody as the repatriation/deportation process begins.
Minister for Home Affairs Glenn Bedingfield said that Malta is open to all those who come legally. Those found living illegally will face repatriation or deportation to a country where they have permission to reside.
