Arsenal player Ainsley Maitland Niles has posted a story on his Instagram account expressing his desire to leave club Arsenal. This is one of the first times that a reputable and top professional player has done this.

In the story, he says “All I wanna do is go where I’m wanted and where I’m gonna play”, followed up with three crying emoji’s. In the story he also tags Arsenal in an attempt to get a response from them.
The right back turned midfielder is said to be wanting to move up north to Liverpool to play with Everton. New Everton coach Rafael Benítez reportedly wants the player too, as he admires his great versatility and attitude. Ainsley spent the second half of last year on loan at West Bromwich Albion where he got to play regularly in his preferred position of centre midfielder.
Ainsley will be hoping for a move but it isn’t looking quite good for him, as reports have come out that Arsenal would like to keep him for depth. All the player wants is game time, all we can do is hope that he’ll get the playing time he deserves.
