Six months after earning 13,000 votes in the European Parliament election, Arnold Cassola, former Green Party chairperson and independent candidate, revealed with MaltaToday progress on forming a new political party.
While still in its early stages, Cassola hinted at an official launch in the coming months, emphasising that the initiative is a collective effort rather than a personal project.
Cassola described the party as a platform for individuals seeking change, focused on values such as democracy, human rights, and environmental sustainability—areas he feels traditional parties have neglected.
The initiative has already gained attention, with brainstorming “vision circles” attracting activists, professionals, and disillusioned Labour voters. Another such event is planned for January.
