Gianni Zammit and Valentina Rossi will be guest hosting the 90-minute quiz full of laughs and Eurovision Trivia so if you haven’t already, get yourself a ticket ASAP.

It is important to note that Eurovision’s number one companions are food & booze and the QUIZZED – Eurovision Edition would not be what it is without our amazing sponsors, Bolt Food, Booze Wagon & Aperol Spritz.

First off, a name which needs no introduction and has been bringing warm, delicious meals to our home for ages. Bolt Food offers an incredible list of local establishments with some of the best food & treats on the island which will arrive at your homes quicker than you can say ‘Je Me Casse’…

…and for all the times that we were caught without a beverage when on a date, with family or with friends, Booze Wagon have always had our backs. This local service offers beverage deliveries in the most convenient way possible & for this year’s Eurovision, they are offering special Eurovision packs with bottles & goodies tailored for different countries, along with an epic Eurovision Drinking Game with every pack.

Finally, for all the times they made us feel classy AF when sipping a cold drink of their own, a big shout-out goes to Aperol Spritz who offer the same classy European flavour as the Eurovision Song Contest in a vibrant orange bottle. What better companion to accompany the timeless classic itself… and it’s also available via Booze Wagon!

Singer and star Demi Lovato came out as non-binary and that they will be changing their pronouns from she/her to they/them. She announced the news on Twitter, stating that today ‘is a day I’m so happy to share more of my life with you all.’ Non-binary people do not identify as male or female and tend not to conform to gender norms of either. The 28-year-old came to the understanding after some healing and self-reflective work over the past year, and is now confirming to her fanbase and the world.

They said that using ‘they/them’ pronouns ‘best represents the fluidity [they] feel in [their] gender expression’. Lovato does not consider themselves as an expert on the subject but will be speaking to other non-binary people in a video series concerning gender identity. Being a spokesperson for LGBTIQ+ throughout their life, Lovato stated they are doing this for ‘those out there that haven’t been able to share who they truly are with their loved ones.’

Jason Micallef upset over Malta’s event measures after packed Eurovision

May 19 2021 Share

Chairman of the Valletta Cultural Agency took to Facebook to express his concern regarding the fact that the Eurovision kicked off its first semi-final with a packed audience, whereas Malta still does not allow such events to take place. He asks whether the science in Rotterdam is far more advanced than that in Malta and states that he can no longer understand the local situation.

He asks who, how and why Maltese authorities will not allow cultural activities of 50, 100 or 200 people in theatres and stadiums which can accommodate around a 1000 throughout all of June. Micallef points to herd immunity, which, despite being a sought after goal, still isn’t enough to bring a return to organised events soon.
