Andre Refalo Wins Gozo’s Best Emerging Entrepreneur Award

Andre Refalo, a key employee at L-Ermita Boutique Hotel in Gozo, has been recognised with the prestigious title of Gozo’s Best Emerging and Young Entrepreneur of the Year, among other awards.

The ceremony for The Gozo Business Awards took place on the 25th of September 2025.

The boutique hotel celebrated his dedication and vision in shaping the success of the boutique hotel, which has quickly established itself as a standout destination on the island.

In a heartfelt post on Facebook, the hotel described Refalo as“the heartbeat of our boutique accommodation,” highlighting his commitment and contribution to its growth.

The recognition also resonated within his family. His father, Anton Refalo, a Gozitan Minister, expressed immense pride in his son’s achievements through an emotional Instagram tribute.

“I’m so proud of you, son,” he wrote. “Your work, determination, and passion are being reflected in these honours, and I know this is just the start of many successes yet to come.”
