Amy Winehouse Actress Marisa Abela Holds Hens In Malta

Marisa Abela, the British actress with Maltese descent who played Amy Winehouse in the singer’s most recent biopic ‘Back to Black’, recently held her hens party in Malta.

Taking to social media, Abela shared photos of herself and her hens squad whilst on the island celebrating her engagement.

‘Heart bursting’, wrote Abela. ‘HEN DO OR DIE.’

Abela revealed her engagement earlier this year, showcasing her diamond engagement ring back in March.

The 28 year old Back to Black star revealed she was getting engaged to West End star Jamie Bogyo in July of 2024, showcasing her ring in March 2025 after stepping out to Virgin Radio Studios.

And to celebrate, Marisa is going back to her Maltese roots as she visits the island’s various landmarks to commemorate the upcoming big day.
