After having been declared winners of Love Island Malta, Allen and Chelsea were given two envelopes, with one containing the prize and the other containing nothing.
The person who received the prize was asked whether they would like to share the prize with their couple or not.
Allen received the envelope with the prize money, with Chelsea receiving the empty envelope.
Of course, Allen decided to share the prize with Chelsea, sharing the €20,000 prize.

After weeks of anticipation and a culminating final vote to determine the winners, Allen & Chelsea emerged as the winners of Love Island Malta 2023.
Proving to be crowd favourites from the moment they were coupled up, this year’s Love Island Malta winners will exit the villa with a €20,000 prize and (hopefully) a lifetime of love ahead.
Despite a few bumps and arguments along the way, the couple overcame the villa’s adversity and weeks upon weeks of drama to prove that they are the nation’s favourite Love Island Malta couple.

The third place couple for Love Island Malta Season 1 has just been announced and it’s Kyle and Marie Christine!
This means Gabby & Sven and Chelsea & Allen are the remaining couple which could be in to win the first season of the competition.
Dale and Nicola ranked in fourth place.
