Smoked Blunt Roach By Snoop Dogg Going Up For Auction

Smoked Blunt Roach By Snoop Dogg Going Up For Auction
May 22 2024 Share

Snoop Dogg has just listed one of the most unique items in hip-hop memorabilia—a smoked blunt roach. This item is part of his ongoing “Tha Shiznit” auction through The Realest and is the first authenticated roach from the rap legend himself.

It was smoked on March 27 of this year in front of a TRUeST Authenticator. The roach has been collected, covertly marked, documented, and preserved inside a solid resin block, ensuring it is no longer consumable. This resin block is placed inside the ashtray that Snoop used, allowing the highest bidder to display this rare item indefinitely.

The auction also features other notable artifacts from Snoop Dogg’s career, including a Doggystyle gold plaque from the Canadian Recording Industry Association, a signed tour itinerary and tech rider, a custom Death Row Records logo pendant by King Ice, and his handwritten tour setlist.

“Each item up for bid is a tangible reminder of Snoop’s impact on the world, from original lyric sheets and stage-worn items to one-of-one studio masters that have never before been available,” writes The Realest.

Currently, Snoop Dogg’s smoked blunt roach has a bidding price of $514 USD.

A posted shared by Calypso Diving Centre and re-shared by Wildlife Rescue Team Malta raised awareness about an injured turtle which has seemingly ingesting fishing line.

‘It has fishing line coming out of the cloaca, and it is VERY IMPORTANT…..DO NOT PULL THE LINE’, wrote Wildlife Rescue Team Malta.

‘If there’s a hook at the end of the line and you pull, you would be actively shredding inside’, the page continued.

650 Parents Could Benefit From €6 Million IVF Investment

650 Parents Could Benefit From €6 Million IVF Investment
May 22 2024 Share

The government is set to invest €6 million in IVF procedures, Health and Active Ageing Minister Jo Etienne Abela revealed.

This follows the recent extension of the IVF medication reimbursement scheme for prospective parents undergoing medically assisted procreation at licensed private clinics in Malta.

“The government recognizes that each day of waiting could mean a lost opportunity for those seeking to become parents. Therefore, we are committed to providing uninterrupted IVF services to ensure maximum efficiency in managing waiting lists.”

The minister explained that, after discussions with the Embryo Protection Authority (EPA), the government will begin negotiations with Malta’s only licensed “Tissue Establishment” that offers comprehensive private IVF services.

He further detailed that within six months, services will be available to approximately 650 prospective parents, with all costs covered by the government.

This includes 300 individuals undergoing IVF, around 200 with cryopreserved embryos at Mater Dei awaiting embryo transfer, about 100 awaiting IVF with donor oocytes or sperm, and around 50 needing IUI services or PGTM services as required.

“This initiative is designed to reduce waiting times and ensure that prospective parents receive the necessary services promptly, with all expenses covered by the government,” the minister concluded.
