Following his election as leader of the Nationalist Party, Alex Borg has publicly thanked outgoing leader Adrian Delia for his support and pledged to work together for the good of the party.
Delia had posted on social media, “Congratulations Alex Borg. Thanks to everyone who believed in me. I did my best to earn your trust. Disappointed. I hope that through my actions I at least earned the respect of those who didn’t.”
In response, Borg wrote, “Thank you, Adrian Delia. Let’s work together to make this party stronger and better.”
