Alex Borg Responds To Claims That He’s Too Young To Lead

Speaking with Malta Daily, Alex Borg addressed questions posed by some that he would be too young or inexperienced to run the Nationalist Party.

Acknowledging the criticism, he said that having a young leader could be an opportunity to show that the party is progressive with its values and that it listens to what the people want.

He said it could also show people that it is ready to win and that it believes in youth.

He compared the local talent pool to that away from our shores who became catalysts for change and became entrepreneurs and leaders.

He said that the party is finally realising that this is the case in Malta too. He said the party has a shadow cabinet filled with young talent that could give the Labour Party a run for its money.
