Alex Borg and Adrian Delia Embrace Each Other On The 2nd Day Of Voting

The second day of early voting in the Nationalist Party leadership election was marked by a show of unity, as both candidates Alex Borg and Adrian Delia warmly embraced each other at the PN headquarters.
The gesture came as hundreds of members continued to cast their ballots in the contest that will determine the next leader of the party.
According to official figures, around 40% of the 20,600 eligible PN members have already voted over the first two days. On Wednesday, 15% of members turned out, while Saturday saw a further 25% casting their ballot.
Voting is taking place at the PN headquarters in Pietà, the Sub-HQ in Ta’ Sannat, and several PN clubs across Malta.
The leadership race is being closely followed as Borg and Delia campaign for the party’s top post. Voting will conclude on Saturday 6 September, when the final session of the General Convention will confirm the new PN leader.
Members eligible to vote must present both their identity card and the voting certificate received by post.
