Adrian Delia Calls For End To Genocide In Gaza

Taking to social media, candidate for the Nationalist Party leadership Adrian Delia has called for an end to the genocide in Gaza.
‘When growing up and learning history, I strongly felt solidarity with the victims of the holocaust’, he wrote.
‘The same sense of solidarity informs my stance today but it is directed towards the occupied and martyred Palestinians.’
Condemning the Hamas attack on October 7th, but went on to say that the Israeli occupation is ‘as much to blame for the death and kidnap of its citizens.’
‘Since then, the Israelis have killed, r*ped and tortured tens of thousands of Palestinians with the goal of turning the occupation of a people into its annihilation.’
‘Powerful voices are speaking out like Francesca Albanese United Nations Special Rapporteur on the Occupied Palestinian Territories. To these I wish to add my own.’
‘Without the constant support of the USA and many countries in our European Union, the Israeli effort will falter and the genocide will stop. Our silent and private condemnation is useless. We must speak out.’
‘All of us should voice our outrage at what is happening in Gaza in the same way that we expressed outrage at what happened in Auschwitz.’
