98 Homicides Occurred In Malta Since 2000, 75 Cases Solved

In a parliamentary question, Labour MP Davina Sammut Hili asked Byron Camilleri, Minister for Home Affairs, Security, and Employment, how many homicides occurred in Malta in the last 25 years, and how many of them have been solved.
According to data tabled in Parliament, 98 homicides have occurred since the year 2000.
Additionally, 75 of these cases have been solved, leaving 23 unsolved.
Along with presenting this data, Camilleri stated that “It is worth noting that thanks to excellent workers, equipped with the best training and tools, all homicides in recent years have been solved.”
All homicides since 2018 have been solved.
