70-Year-Old Woman Greviously Injured in Mqabba Traffic Accident

Yesterday, a 70-year-old woman from Ħal Kirkop sustained serious injuries following a traffic accident in Triq l-Imqabba, Mqabba.
The incident occurred at around 5:00pm (1700hrs) when, for reasons still unclear, the woman lost control of the Kia Picanto she was driving and crashed into a pole.
A medical team was called to the scene and provided first aid before the woman was transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
Police investigations into the incident are currently ongoing.
