
Mużika Mużika is set to return for its fifth consecutive year, featuring sixteen finalists competing this coming March. The festival first debuted in 2021, following its rebranding by Festivals Malta.
Minister for National Heritage, Arts, and Local Government, Owen Bonnici, highlighted the importance of preparations for this prestigious festival, which will culminate in a spectacular show at MFCC, Ta’ Qali.
“The festival has received overwhelmingly positive feedback, growing in popularity among both artists and audiences who eagerly follow it every year,” said Minister Bonnici.
Festivals Malta Chairperson Aaron Zahra added, “In March, we will celebrate five years of success, showcasing the highest quality Maltese music in a festival eagerly awaited by the Maltese public.”
CEO Frans Agius emphasized the scale of the event, involving around 150 technical and professional staff. He promised an extraordinary stage production and exciting surprises for audiences.
Chairman Ray Bugeja explained a new voting system: on Thursday, votes will be exclusive to the live audience via a mobile app, with final votes counted on Saturday.
The festival, featuring live orchestra performances, will air live on TVM and take place at MFCC from March 27–29, 2025. Tickets are now available, with updates on www.muzikamuzika.mt and social media.
