55-Year-Old Motorcyclist Greviously Injured in Marsa Collision

Yesterday afternoon, at around 3:15pm, police were alerted to a traffic accident in Triq Emmanuele Luigi Galizia, Marsa.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the crash involved a Daelim motorcycle, driven by a 55-year-old man from Birżebbuġa, and a BMW 318, driven by a 33-year-old woman from Ħal Luqa.
A 74-year-old man, also from Ħal Luqa, was travelling as a passenger in the car at the time of the accident.
The motorcyclist was given medical assistance at the scene before being taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. He was later certified as suffering from serious injuries.
Police investigations are still underway.
