According to new data by Eurostat, 5.0% of Maltese worked 49 hours or more weekly.
The data highlighted how many of EU citizens in 2024 worked 49 hours or more weekly, with the EU average being 6.6.%.
The age range is 20 to 64, with Greece topping the list at 12.4%. Cyprus and France topped the top 3 list at 10% and 9.9%.
The lowest was registered by Bulgaria at 0.4%, followed by Latvia and Lithuania at 1.0% and 1.4% respectively.
