Limited KFC pop-up hotel offers guests unlimited fried chicken

Limited KFC pop-up hotel offers guests unlimited fried chicken

A new hotel set to open in London will not only be KFC themed but will offer its guests unlimited fried chicken. The brand are hosting a staycation pop-up hotel in hotel House of Harland between the 18th and 29th of August in London. Guests will be fancily picked up from Kings Cross station in a Black Cadillac to be privately escorted to the hotel in trendy Shoreditch. There, a chick-in-clerk will welcome the guests and offer as much fried food as one wants.

Behind the door or room 11, where the KFC suite is located, a ‘press-for-chicken’ button has been set up. Pushing that button will summon a slew of fried foods for the guest to enjoy. Accompanied by a Hot Winger Arcade Machine and a cinema room showing ‘chick flicks’, the suite can host two adults for the available six days. Any proceeds will be donated to the KFC Foundation and due to it being a pop-up hotel, it seems as though people will be flocking to book their lucky stay!

Italy is currently experiencing scorching record temperatures which have led to fires in the south of the country. Several areas of Sicily and Calabria have caught fire, including a nature reserve inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Temperatures have reached over 47 degrees Celsius in Sicily, but they are expected to reach up to 49 and 50 degrees. Firefighting teams have had to intervene 300 times in just 12 hours due to burnings in Calabria and Sicily.

Madoni, a mountainous region near Palermo, has also been consumed by flames for several days, annihilating drops, homes and even livestock. Sicilian Governor Nilo Musumechi has called for a state of national emergency as head of the environmental NGO WWF Italy branch called for immediate intervention with additional air means. Italy has only joined the ranks in countries registering blazing flames across the world as global warming concerns rise alarmingly.
