With a public holiday just around the corner, a trip to Gozo with family or friends is more than adequate to chill out and enjoy a day off and what’s a trip to Gozo without visiting one of its many gorgeous food spots. That’s why we’ve decided to compile a list of some of our favourite foodies spots on our sister island. Take a look below and let us know what you think!
Black Cat Café
One of Rabat’s hidden gems, this intimate artisan café boasts an extensive range of fresh cakes and pastries, not to mention a lovely brunch menu.
Daily specials, vegan menu items and a special Aussie menu including Vegemite on toast and home-made sausage rolls, you can’t visit Gozo without dropping by the Black Cat Café.
L’Aragosta
Cozy, family-oriented and specialising in local & Mediterranean cuisine, L’Aragosta in Marsalforn is a definite must-visit to excite your palate and explore the tastes of the Mediterranean.
From fresh local Lampuki to bold crudo dishes, L’Aragosta’s menu has something for everyone and it’s definitely worth a visit if you’re in Gozo.
Ping’s Buddaharama
If it’s Asian Fusion you are craving, Ping’s Buddaharama in Rabat is the place to go.
Bask in the restaurant’s beautiful atmosphere and benefit from an affordable menu with tasty, gorgeous dishes. Chinese, Japanese, Thai and everything in between, eating at Ping’s is a unique experience and the food speaks for itself.
Noble Cafè Bistro
A relatively new kid on the block, this Rabat location has already made a name for itself with its jaw-dropping menu packing everything from brunch to burgers.
Special iced coffees, punchy pancake stacks, bangin’ burgers and so much more, do not miss out on the chance to try out this gem.
Mojo’s
An icon in Gozitan food lore, Mojo’s in an unmistakable home away from home for many locals. It’s welcoming environment & fresh seasonal dishes make it one of Rabat’s most beloved hangouts.
Mojo’s marvellous menu includes breakfast dishes, vegetarian and vegan options as well as some mind-blowing desserts so do yourself a favour and next time you’re in Gozo, pay these guys a visit.
BONUS: Granola
No meal in Gozo is complete without a cheeky visit to Gelateria Granola in Xlendi. This iconic ice-cream spot is amongst the most popular checkpoints in Gozo for locals and tourists alike.
Indulge in some of their classic flavours or try out one of their newer creations like the Salted Peanut & Caramel, either way you’re leaving with a smile on your face.
