5.2-Magnitude Tremor Rocks Malta

A 5.2-magnitude tremor was felt across Malta on Monday morning, according to the Euro-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC).

The earthquake struck at approximately 11:55 am, with its epicentre located around 205 kilometres southeast of the islands at a depth of 10 kilometres.

Residents from multiple localities reported feeling a brief shake, though no damage has been reported.The most recent noticeable tremor occurred in April, when a 3.5-magnitude quake struck 16 kilometres off Mellieħa, causing minor shaking but no damage.
