35 year old grieviously injured after crashing car into tree

A 35-year-old resident of Xgħajra had to be taken to Mater Dei Hospital at around 0615hrs this morning following a traffic accident in Triq Mikiel Anton Vassalli, St Julian’s.
Preliminary investigations suggested that the man, who was driving a Ford Fiesta, lost control and had an impact with a tree in the vicinity.The man was later certified to have suffered grievous injuries. Investigations are ongoing. Wishing him a speedy recovery.
