It was previously owned by Russian media tycoon Boris Berezovsky, who wanted to rival Roman Abramovich’s boat Pelorus, another boat which has been previously docked in Malta. The Russian did however sell it to the Emirati car dealer before the boat was even completed.
Radiant features a helipad, gymnasium, cinema and spa and includes one of the highest security specifications to ever be created. The helipad seems to be used quite a lot as the yacht was also seen in Birgu with a helicopter on its helipad.
The yacht is a 110m motor yacht which has a top speed of 21.0 kn and cruising speed of 16.o kn. Radiant can accommodate up to 20 guests in 10 staterooms. It was was designed by experienced yacht designer Tim Heywood and was built in Germany by Lurssen in 2009.
Radiant is registered in the Cayman Islands, the 2nd most popular flag state for superyachts with a total of 1256 yachts registered.
