29-Year-Old Injures Elderly Man In Traffic Accident

A 75-year-old man from Ħaż-Żabbar was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Triq Ħal Luqa, Raħal Ġdid, at around 4:00 p.m. yesterday afternoon.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the man was hit by a Nissan March driven by a 29-year-old man residing in Santa Luċija.
The elderly man was assisted by a medical team on site, transported to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, and later certified as having sustained serious injuries.
Police investigations are still underway.
