28-Year-Old Man From San Ġwann Arrested Over Alleged Drug Trafficking

A 28-year-old man from San Ġwann is being held in custody after being found in possession of various types of drugs, allegedly intended for sale.
Following surveillance of the suspect, he was arrested yesterday afternoon in Ta’ Qali. Searches carried out on his person and at his residence uncovered substances suspected to be cocaine, heroin, and cannabis, reportedly ready for trafficking, with an estimated street value of around €10,000. The police also seized a vehicle and some cash.
The man is being held at Floriana Police Lock-Up.
