27-Year-Old Motorcyclist Dies in Early Morning Crash in Pembroke

A 27-year-old man from Raħal Ġdid lost his life early this morning following a traffic accident in Pembroke.
The collision occurred at around 1:00am in Triq Sant’Andrija.
Preliminary investigations revealed that the crash involved a BMW 1 Series, driven by a 22-year-old man from St Paul’s Bay, and a Honda motorcycle ridden by the victim.
Emergency medical teams were immediately called to the scene, and the motorcyclist was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance. Sadly, he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
Magistrate Dr Ian Farrugia LL.D has been informed of the case and has launched a magisterial inquiry.
Police investigations into the incident are still ongoing.
