24 Cases Of Voluntary Homicide Between 2020 & 2024 All Solved

According to information tabled in parliament by Minister Byron Camilleri, there were 24 cases of voluntary homicide in the past five years (between 2020 and 2024).
All of these cases, the data shows were solved, with 5 taking place last year.

Within this five year time frame, 2022 saw the most voluntary homicides at a total of 8. Meanwhile, 2021 saw the lowest at just 2.
The last time a case was not solved was the year 2017, wherein 4 out of 9 cases were not solved.
From the data provided, which concerns the year 2003 up until May of this year, the year with the most voluntary homicides was the year 2012 with 10 cases. 7 of these were solved, with the remaining 3 not solved.
