2,335 People Fleeing Ukraine Had Protection In Malta In June

According to Eurostat, 2,335 non-EU citizens fleeing Ukraine had temporary protection status in Malta on June 30th 2025.
This was revealed along with overall EU data, which showed that 4.31 million of such citizens had temporary protection status during the same period in the EU.
Among the EU countries, most beneficiaries of temporary protection were firstly recorded in Germany at 1,196,645 people, or 27.8% of the EU total.
Poland registered 23.0% at 992,505 and Czechia registered 8.8% at 378,420.
The ratio to EU population per 1,000 people was 9.6.
