Two children were killed and nine others injured in a stabbing at a dance school event in Southport, UK.
Six children and two adults are in critical condition. The adults were injured while protecting children, according to Merseyside Police Chief Constable Serena Kennedy.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of murder and attempted murder. The incident is not being treated as terror-related, and no other suspects are being sought. The motive remains unclear.
