18 Year Old Woman Injured By Boat Propeller In Comino

Yesterday, police were informed at around 1630hrs that an incident had taken place in Blue Lagoon, Comino.
Preliminary investigations showed that an 18 year old Spanish woman had suffered leg injuries after she was hit by the propeller of a boat she was attempting to board and that was switched on.
She was immediately taken to Gozo General Hospital and was given medical assistance by the Emergency Response and Rescue Corps.
She was later certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Investigations are still ongoing.
