17 Year Old E-Scooter Grievously Injured After Birkirkara Crash

Yesterday, at around 2215hrs, police were informed of a traffic accident in Triq il-Wied ta’ Birkirkara, Birkirkara.
The police convened immediately on site and preliminary investigations showed that a crash had taken place between a Mazda Demio driven by a 41 year old resident of Birkirkara and an e-scooter driven by a 17 year old boy resident of Birkirkara.
A medical team was called on site and transported the 17 year old to Mater Dei Hospital, where he was certified as having suffered grievous injuries.
Police are still investigating.
