16 Year Old Hospitalised Following Bicycle Accident

A 16 year old boy was hospitalised with grievous injuries yesterday after crashing into a wall while cycling in Triq il-Buqana, Rabat.
Police said that initial investigations indicate the teenager lost control of his bicycle before colliding with the wall.
Emergency services were called to the scene and provided first aid before the boy was taken to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance, where he was certified to be suffering from grievous injuries.
Magistrate Antoine Agius Bonnici has launched an inquiry, and police investigations are ongoing.
