16 Year Old Caught Driving Motorcycle During Żejtun Road Check

In a joint effort with LESA, the Malta Police Force conducted further road checks on local roads, leading to several fines being issued due to road rule violations.
During an inspection which took place on Sunday morning in Tal-Barrani, Żejtun, 17 fines were issued for various driving irregularities, whereas a further four were stopped for driving without a license.
One of the drivers was stopped whilst he was driving a motorcycle and was discovered to be only 16 years old.
The motorcycle was confiscated immediately as police continue to investigate the case.
As the road checks effort continue, the Malta Police Force once again urges drivers to observe road regulations to safeguard other peoples’, and their own, lives.
