157 Persons Found Drunk Driving In Past Year & A Half

According to information tabled in parliament by Minister Byron Camilleri, a total of 280 breathalyser tests were carried out in the past year and a half.
As of the 1st of January 2024 and the 30th of June 2025, there were 157 persons who were found to have exceeded the alcohol consumption limit as set by law.
The Minister was responding to a question tabled by PN MP Ivan Bartolo.
