113 New Lawyers Officially Granted Their Warrant

After years of dedication and countless hours of studying, 113 aspiring lawyers have officially been granted their warrant to practise law in Malta.
Minister for Justice and the Reform of the Construction Sector, Jonathan Attard, described the occasion as a significant milestone marking the beginning of a new professional chapter for all the new warranted lawyers.
He noted that this moment celebrates not just academic success, but also a deeper commitment to justice, responsibility, and ethical conduct.
Addressing the newly warranted lawyers, Minister Attard reminded them of their important role, not only as legal professionals but also as sources of guidance and support during some of the most sensitive periods in people’s lives.
He urged them to embrace the profession as a calling in service of society, stressing that their oath is not a simple formality but a serious promise to uphold truth and justice in every decision.
Chief Justice Mark Chetcuti and Chamber of Advocates President Dr Peter Fenech also delivered speeches at the ceremony. State Advocate Dr Chris Soler and members of the Committee of Advocates and Legal Procurators were also present.
Minister Attard concluded by thanking educators, institutions, families, and all those involved in making the ceremony a success.
