1 Year Old At Risk Of Dying After Falling Into Pool In Gozo

A one year and four month old boy is at risk of dying after falling into a pool in a private residence.
Yesterday, at around 1930hrs, police were informed that their assistance was needed in Triq Ġnien Imrik, Xagħra, Gozo.
Police, along with Gozo General Hospital medical team, convened immediately on site where they found the boy unconscious.
A medical team transported the boy to Gozo General Hospital, with the boy later transported to Mater Dei Hospital via helicopter for further assistance.
An inquiry gas been opened and investigations are ongoing.
