YouTuber Jake Paul wants to join Elon Musk in ending world hunger

Following the news that Elon Musk is considering donating $6 billion if the UN can prove how it will use his money to end world hunger, YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul has jumped on the philanthropist train as well. He posted to Twitter stating ‘yo @elonmusk if you donate $6 billion to the UN to end world hunger I’ll also donate $10 million if this gets 690K retweets.’ Why the number of retweets is set at that digit will be left to the imagination, but the fact that he has $10 million just sitting around for charity proves he must have actually amassed a fortune since he launched his channel.

Of course, the massive contribution will only be given if the Tesla and SpaceX CEO himself will give his own $6 billion. This follows director of the World Food Program David Beasley urging the world’s biggest billionaires to do something better with their money. Just 2% of Elon Musk’s net worth (the whopping $6 billion) would, according to Beasley, end the plight which takes so many lives. We’ll have to see whether any of this will transpire, but if this is what it takes to actually solve the issue, the question must be raised… what took so long?

Cel&Sacco hits out at X-Factor for not showing their full episode

The return of Celine Agius on X-Factor Malta Season 3 was long awaited by many fans of the series and, undoubtedly, the singer herself. Now part of a duet alongside guitarist Glen Sacco, the duo are now the band CEL&Sacco. However, it seems as though the episode in which the band performed their audition did not broadcast in its entirety. In a post uploaded to Facebook, Celine apologized to all those who stayed awake to watch their performance, as only 40 seconds of the audition was shown.

The couple performed an interpretation of Beggin’ by Maneskin, but due to it not being fully broadcast on X-Factor, the band uploaded the version to Facebook. They accompanied the post with a critique of the music industry, calling it a ‘sick, sick industry… it is all about business…commerciality…money…BUT then there is you with bags of talent.’

They encouraged every artist to keep surviving and dreaming. ‘Life is a continuous struggle to survive… please hang on in there, that is our advice especially to all the youngsters, struggling in this industry especially. Stay strong and be you!’ What do you make of this?

Antonio Conte officially joins Tottenham Hotspurs

English side Tottenham Hotspurs have officially announced the appointment of Italian manager Antonio Conte. The Lecce-born coach and former player is known for winning trophies and league titles wherever he coaches whether it be Juventus, Chelsea and most recently Inter Milan. Conte signed up for an 18-month deal that will see him earn around €15 million every year, he will also have an option to extend the deal.

In Tottenham’s statement , Conte had this to say “I am extremely happy to return to coaching, and to do so at a Premier League club that has the ambition to be a protagonist again.” and “I can’t wait to start working to convey to the team and the fans the passion, mentality and determination that have always distinguished me, as a player and as a coach. ”

Antonio Conte was also reportedly very close to joining Tottenham last summer, but the deal never happened and the lilywhites went on to appoint Portuguese coach Nuno Espírito Santo. Regarding the deal that broke down last summer, Antonio said this “Last summer our union did not happen because the end of my relationship with Inter was still too recent and emotionally too involved with the end of the season, so I felt that it wasn’t yet the right time to return to coaching.” he also admitted the reason he joined now, saying “But the contagious enthusiasm and determination of Daniel Levy (Tottenham Chairman) in wanting to entrust me with this task had already hit the mark. Now that the opportunity has returned, I have chosen to take it with great conviction.”

Managing director of football and close friend of Antonio Conte, Fabio Paratici stated “We are delighted to welcome Antonio to the Club. His track record speaks for itself, with vast experience and trophies in both Italy and England.” he went on to say “I know first-hand the qualities Antonio can bring to us, having worked with him at Juventus, and look forward to seeing his work with our talented group of players.”

Conte will not be the man in the dugout for Spurs’ next match against Dutch side Vitesse on Thursday, due to his work permit. Antonio’s first match will reportedly be this Sunday away to Everton.
