The gig was performed by Charles Busuttil and his two sons Luigi on Bass and Gianluca on drums. Meanwhile, Andre took to the keyboard and the unmistakable Lou Bondi on lead guitar. And last but not least is Ninu Scicluna on the saxophone, bringing all the vibes!

The Busubonds performance was an absolute hit with those in attendance as the band got everyone up on their feet and moving.

Have you ever attended?

MaltaDaily Campaigning To Remove Parliament Barriers

MaltaDaily Campaigning To Remove Parliament Barriers

SIGN THE PETITION HERE.

In November 2019, Malta faced significant unrest, marked by escalating protests concerning the Daphne Caruana Galizia murder case and calls for the resignation of Prime Minister Joseph Muscat.

These protests culminated in the installation of barriers ahead of subsequent demonstrations. Despite nearly five years passing since their erection, the barriers remain, prompting questions regarding their necessity and longevity.

Conversations surrounding the barriers have been widespread. Deputy David Thake raised the issue in July 2021, seeking clarity from the Speaker of Parliament. However, a definitive resolution remains elusive, even after inquiries by Deputies Darren Carabott and Eve Borg Bonello in July 2022.

MaltaDaily is therefore officially campaigning to have these barriers removed – and we need YOU to help us do so.

You can sign the petition on change.org and contribute to removing the barriers from in front of our parliament!
