Last week, local artist Raphael Mizzi, known on Instagram as @raphael.mizzi.art, dedicated hours to crafting a life-sized sculpture inspired by Greek art and sculptures. Using grass, clay and wood exclusively, Mizzi created a stunning piece that captures nature’s transient beauty.

The artist extended his gratitude to a French visitor and his friends, who served as models and references for the sculpture. Mizzi also expressed his appreciation to visitors from Texas, Paris, and Hungary, who stopped by to admire his sculpture and creative process. Their encouragement provided additional motivation during his artistic process.

Raphael Mizzi is an alum of the Malta School of Arts; @soa_malta on Instagram. He credits the institution for equipping him with the skills necessary to bring his artistic visions to life.
