Jayden Farrugia, a young goalkeeper for Mosta FC and the Maltese national team, has set two national records during the 2024 to 2025 football season.
At just 17 years old, he has become the youngest player to take part in the highest number of competitions at the top levels of Maltese football.
These competitions include the U17 Section A, U17 Knockout, National Youth League Section A, National Youth League Knockout, the Premier League, the FA Trophy and the UEFA Under 17 Qualifiers.
This achievement marks his participation in seven different competitions within a single season, a rare milestone for any player, let alone someone of his age.
In addition, Jayden also holds the record for playing the highest number of matches in a single season at these top levels. He featured in 48 matches, which included games across all the aforementioned competitions.
Well done Jayden!
